At the New Canaan YMCA, we are committed to supporting our community’s physical and mental health.
Regardless of where you may be in your fitness journey, the Y offers a variety of wellness opportunities for all ages, abilities, and interests.
Our Wellness Center features a wide range of equipment for individual exercise and personal training. This large space features free weights, cardio equipment, and selectorized machines. Our state-of-the-art Zone is a fun training space featuring TRX, weights, kettlebells, resistance bands, training ropes, plyometric boxes, and more.
At the Y, fitness is fun and great way to connect with others. We offer over 75 group exercise classes each week as a part of your Y membership. Classes include strength training, yoga, Pilates, Zumba®, barre, aquatic fitness, cycling, and so much more! All classes are led by professional, motivating, and dedicated instructors.
Our Wellness Department also offers a variety of training programs including personal training, small-group training, pilates apparatus, and nutritional counseling.
Finally, the New Canaan YMCA proudly offers multiple chronic disease support programs including the National Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP), LIVESTRONG at the YMCA for cancer survivors, and an exercise program for those with Parkinson’s disease.
