As a part of the Tom Hargrove and Anita Grover, MD Child Development Center, our Y offers reliable after-school programming for children in kindergarten through sixth grade from school dismissal to 6:00 PM daily. Our energetic, qualified staff provides an after-school environment that promotes self-esteem, independence, responsibility, and fun! Activities include organized gym activities, outdoor play, sports, games, swimming, arts and crafts, stories, music, special events, and homework assistance.
We maintain a staff-to-child ratio of at least 1 to 10. The program is held at our Y and participants may register for 3, 4, or 5 days per week.
Children who attend New Canaan Public Schools are transported to the YMCA via the bus company contracted by the New Canaan Public School system. Extended days are available when New Canaan schools have early dismissals, and vacation programs are available at reduced rates during most public school holidays.
Our Kids Unlimited after-school program follows the New Canaan Public Schools District Calendar.

Kids Unlimited is currently full for the 2022-2023 school year. To be added to the waitlist, please complete our 2022-2023 Lottery Form, submit to in person the Front Desk or to Suzy Pfeifer by email, and you will be contacted if space becomes available.
