New Canaan YMCA Mobile App

Where Our Members Stay Connected

The New Canaan YMCA’s mobile app is designed to support members on their fitness journeys while staying connected to the Y on the go. Our mobile app is your one-stop-shop for facility schedules (group exercise, gymnasium, and pool schedules), workout tracking, and goal setting, as well as member challenges to help you stay on track to achieve your fitness goals, and more. Download the New Canaan YMCA mobile app today for for iPhone or Android.

Sign Up for or Log In to the New Canaan YMCA's Mobile App

Signing Up for the App:

  1. Open the New Canaan YMCA app on your smartphone
  2. Tap Sign Up
  3. xID: enter in your 10-14 digit number (we recommend using your cell phone number)
  4. Tap Next and fill out the information requested
  5. Fill in the sign up form
  6. Check that you agree with the Terms of Use
  7. Tap Submit and your account will be created and logged into the app.

Logging Into the App:

  1. Open the New Canaan YMCA app on your smartphone
  2. Tap Log In With Your xID
  3. xID: Type in your 10-14 digit phone number
  4. Passcode: Type in your 4-digit code
  5. Tap Sign In and you will be logged into the app

Create an EGYM ID Fitness Account

Your EGYM ID allows you to log workouts in the New Canaan YMCA mobile app. Create an EGYM ID by following the steps below:

  1. Open the New Canaan YMCA app on your smartphone
  2. Tap the Fitness tab on the bottom right
  3. Tap + Log Workout
  4. Confirm that your EGYM ID email is correct and tap Continue
  5. Create a password for your EGYM ID Fitness Account and tap Continue
  6. Accept your data preference and your account will be created
  7. You are now able to log and create workouts on the New Canaan YMCA mobile app

Mobile App Support

Resetting your 4-Digit Passcode for xID Account:

  1. Open the New Canaan YMCA app on your smartphone
  2. Tap Log In With Your xID
  3. If you have forgotten your passcode, tap Forgot your passcode?
  4. Enter in your xID or email and tap Reset Passcode
  5. You will be emailed a temporary passcode to sign into your account, where you can set a new passcode in profile settings

In-App Support:

  1. Open the New Canaan YMCA app on your smartphone
  2. Tap Log In With Your xID and enter in your account information
  3. Access your profile by tapping your initials on the top left of the My Y tab
  4. Click Support > APP ISSUE/QUESTION
  5. Type in your issue and click Send
  6. You will receive a response from EGYM support to the email associated with your account
