The Y and the New Canaan Recreation Department are proudly partnering to offer swim lessons at the Steve Benko pool in Waveny Park this summer. Parent & Child, Preschool, and School-Age swim lessons are available for children ages 6 months to 12 years beginning June 26.
Summer swim lessons at the Steve Benko pool are offered in eight, five-day sessions, Monday through Friday. Sessions are available from June 26 through August 18. Lessons will be 30 minutes and run between 8:15-10:45 AM.
YMCA swim lessons follow a national YMCA curriculum, and are designed to teach safety, confidence, and strength in the water in a supportive and nurturing environment.
As a leading nonprofit committed to youth development, the New Canaan YMCA has been a leader in providing swim lessons and water safety in the New Canaan community for over 50 years.
“We are extremely proud to partner with our Recreation Department to offer swim lessons at the beautiful Steve Benko Pool. The New Canaan YMCA takes great pride in being our community’s lead resource for swim lessons.
